Following public consultation held late last year as part of the Polling District and Polling Place Review, changes to some polling places used in Havant Borough have been approved.
Last year, an independent review was carried out by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE). This means there will now be 12 wards in Havant Borough, with each ward being represented by three councillors.
In addition, a new parliamentary constituency, Fareham and Waterlooville, has been created alongside the existing parliamentary constituency of Havant. This came after a different review by the Boundary Commission for England.
As a result of both independent reviews, the council considered carefully and approved the following changes:
- 14 wards reduced to 12 wards
- 38 councillors reduced to 36
- All wards will have 3 seats
-
New locations of some polling stations.
Details of your polling station will be noted your poll card, but you can also search your address on this map to find out which ward and polling district you live in and where your polling station will be for the Elections on Thursday 2 May 2024. A polling station finder will also be made available on the council website nearer the time.
