Six teams from in and around the Havant Borough shared their love for sport at a Walking Netball Festival on Saturday 30 November.
The council’s Get Up and Go programme hosted the festival at Havant Leisure Centre, in partnership with England Netball.
Over 60 people joined the fun, including players, umpires, supporters, and volunteers. Also in attendance were Horizon, who delivered free health checks.
In recognition of the talented teams and members, lots of awards were on offer – congratulations to the winners!
- First place winners – The Walkie Talkies
- The fair play award – Stakes Belles
- Passionate player – Trena from the Havant team
- Umpire – Jennie from the Mounties
Participants were encouraged to donate to the Feed Havant project, in support of local food banks. All donations received help feed families in Havant who are struggling during the winter months.
