Havant’s former Park Lodge, which has stood empty since December 2022 is set to be re-purposed into a craft beer micropub.
Havant Borough Council has approved the proposals for the new lease which involves a full refurbishment, being undertaken by a new family-run business.
The property, in a prominent position within Havant Park, will be opening its doors under the new tenancy with ‘From Beer to Eternity Ltd’ in late April.
Councillor Paul Gray, Cabinet lead for Commercial & Chairman of Licensing Committee said, “The reletting of the property provides an opportunity for a new business start-up and diversifies the offering within Havant Park. Increasing activity and bringing the property back into meaningful use for local residents.”
From Beer to Eternity Ltd will serve craft beers from local breweries, plus a few from further afield. They will also be offering a range of ciders, wine, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.
