Are you missing the thrill of playing a sport but can't commit to a regular schedule? Maybe you're looking to ease back into fitness at your own pace?

Havant’s Get Up and Go programme - funded by Energise Me - offers physical activity opportunities to residents of all ages and abilities to help them stay active and exercise in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Current and upcoming activities include the following:

Parent and child boxing Bessey’s Gym, Leigh Park Community Centre First session FREE, then children go free and £5 for adults Wednesdays at 4.30pm
Winter walking football Havant Leisure Centre £3.50 a week Fridays at 4.30pm
Multi-sports club  Havant Leisure Centre First session FREE, then £3 a week Thursdays at 1.30pm

Walking Netball Havant Leisure Centre £3.50 a week Tuesdays at 11am

Walk and talks (history and nature) Staunton Country Park FREE First and third Tuesday of the month
Qigong beginner taster session  Public Service Plaza, Havant  FREE Starts Wednesday 12 March
Qigong 4-week course for beginners Public Service Plaza, Havant £20 for whole course Wednesday 19 March – Wednesday 9 April
SOMA breathwork Bedhampton Community Centre First session FREE, then £5 a week Starts Saturday 15 March
Beginner bowls 6-week course Cowplain Bowls Club £10 for whole course Starts Saturday 6 April

Aside from these Get Up and Go activities, the council also coordinates free Wellbeing Walks across the borough. To view upcoming walks, please go to the Ramblers website.
