There are a number of ways to pay your council tax.
Pay by direct debit
This is the easiest, most convenient and cheapest way of paying, for both the customer and the council. When the direct debit is set up your instalment payment will automatically be debited from your bank account.
If the amounts to be paid or payment dates change you will be notified at least 10 working days in advance.
If you wish to set up a direct debit, you can do this through your portal account by completing the direct debit form.
Pay online
You can pay your council tax online using our payments system which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Please select the 'council tax' option from the list of payments available and have your debit or credit card to hand.
Telephone
You can call dial-and-pay 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Please call 023 9244 6317 and follow the guidance. You will need your reference number and your debit card (this option is debit card only).
