Alongside our successful Vacant Shop Scheme, we are delighted to now bring a Pop Up Shop to Waterlooville for the next 12 months.

We will be working with local businesses, offering them an opportunity to trial a physical store setup without overheads of a long-term lease. This will give smaller start-ups space to launch a new product, benefit from a seasonal space, and integrate into the community of Waterlooville. As part of the Regeneration of Waterlooville, a Pop Up Shop also makes good use of empty premises and injects vitality back into the high street.

We want to encourage new uses and create a vibrant and animated atmosphere, including a wider mix of shops and facilities in the centre of our communities. We are now looking for independent traders, local artisans and producers (established businesses or testing the market), who would like a trading opportunity. We'll welcome applications for all types of products, including food, drink, clothing, antiques, collectables, toys, art, crafts, home furnishings or anything else that brings something different and unique to the high street.

The Pop Up Shop will be tenanted on a short-term turnaround, giving traders enough time to trade but also offering the opportunity to many over the 12 months. If you are interested in the Pop Up Shop, please fill out the Expression of Interest form:

We will then come back to you with further details and let you know if your application was successful. Please bear in mind that we try to avoid duplication of the permanent shops, so tell us why your shop will be different.
