In May through to July we are carrying out a face-to-face survey with 1,200 of our residents.

This survey will ask questions about the local area and local service provision provided by Havant Borough Council. This will provide data to continue our understanding of what is most important to residents to inform future decision making and meeting the needs of local people.

The people interviewing work for a market research agency called Lake, who are working on behalf of Havant Borough Council.

Interviewers will clearly identify themselves by showing their identification badge to residents before conducting the interview. They will not ask you for details that are not necessary for the survey such as bank account details. If you have any concerns, please contact Customer Services on 023 9244 6019.

The survey will be conducted in accordance with our privacy policy. This includes how the data will be securely collected and stored, and no personal identifying information will be linked to an individual. More information on our privacy policy can be found here: Privacy policy | Havant Borough Council

This survey will be conducted with a representative sample of residents aged 16+ years based on the profile of our borough. This will be by age, gender and work status demographics, and an equal split of interviews across our 12 wards.

If you are invited to take part, and do not wish to, please let the interviewer know. Alternatively, you can let our Customer Service team know on 023 9244 6019.

The results of this survey will be made available on this webpage in the Autumn.
